Making a Bequest

A bequest can be in the form of:

A gift of cash
A percentage of your estate, property or
Shares in the residue of your estate.

If you would like to make a lasting gift to Bridge Housing you may wish to use the following words as befits the situation:

"I give and bequeath to Bridge Housing Limited for the use and purposes of the said company, the sum of xxxxxxxx/the residue of my estate/% of my estate (include which ever is appropriate), free of all death and estate duties and the receipt of the said company shall be a sufficient discharge to my Executors."
