Bridge Housing today launched Bridge to Work, a new employment initiative in partnership with community employment agency CoAct, to help our residents into jobs. Read the flyer.

CEO John Nicolades said: “We know that employment is an important pathway out of disadvantage so it’s really exciting to be able to support Bridge Housing residents in this way.”

“CoAct has great success rates in assisting people into work. Our CoAct Employment Support Coordinator will help residents set individual work goals; provide one on one support, and help residents find the right job.”

Bridge to Work is funded through the Strong and Resilient Communities Grants Program – Inclusive Communities, an Australian Government initiative.

The program is open to all residents and household members 17-70 years who are interested in securing a job. CoAct Employment Support Coordinator Gavin Marks will work from Bridge Housing’s offices for the next three years to deliver the program. Learn more.
