Northern beaches tenants have given Bridge Housing and the Women’s Housing Company a friendly welcome as we make neighbourhood visits to answer their questions about the tenancy transition.

Touring in our new mobile office, we plan to visit all Northern beaches neighbourhoods with public housing tenancies by the end of March to get to know residents and provide the information they need to prepare for the August transition.

Congratulations to the first winners of our lucky “lawn” prizes at the December Neighbourhood Q&Q sessions:

  • Hessu Karlan for the week ending 7 December
  • Veniasi (Ben) Tale for week ending 4 December.

Residents can also now access a simple, easy-to-read timeline that outlines the key steps, tasks and dates for transitioning to Bridge Housing or the Women’s Housing Company by August this year. pdf View or download the timeline (55 KB) .

Bridge Housing and the Women’s Housing Company will assume management of some 1,200 public housing tenancies on the northern beaches under the NSW Government’s Social Housing Management Transfer Program for the next 20 years.
