Bridge Housing's HomeGround Real Estate Sydney will be showcased at the bi-annual National Housing Conference in August in Darwin.
With the theme Housing Future Communities, it is the peak conference for government, not-for-profits and the community sector on social and affordable housing and homelessness.
Rebecca Pinkstone, new Chief Operating Officer of Bridge Housing and one of the HomeGroundRealEstateSydney management team, will speak at the Opening Doors to Private Rental session.
The conference will explore the rise of not-for-profit real estate agencies and other new models for helping disadvantaged households overcome barriers to access and sustain tenancies in the private rental market.
Other conference highlights include sessions on:
- Affordable housing, working with local government
- Dollars to dwellings: financing affordable housing
- Innovative funding partnerships.
The conference runs from 27-30 August in Darwin. Early bird rates end on 31 May.
