Bridge Housing staff are embarking on a new challenge this September after many successful years doing the Bridge Run.

Our team of 27 staff - and growing - will walk all or stages of the 35-kilometre North Sydney Bloody Long Walk route from Palm Beach to Manly on Sunday 8 September.

The Bloody Long Walk raises money for the Mito Foundation, a charity that supports people with Mitochondrial disease. Mitochondrial disease (mito) is a debilitating genetic disorder that robs the body’s cells of energy, causing multiple organ dysfunction or failure and potentially death.

“Staff have already begun training for this fun event which is a great team building exercise and health and wellbeing opportunity for us too,” said team organiser and Contracts Manager, Assets Lana Pitwell. “I’m really hoping to get even more staff inspired to join us.”

We’d love your support to complete this gruelling walk by making a donation – no matter how big or small – to our campaign fundraising page.
