Bridge Housing’s new Northern Beaches Housing Support Coordinator Karmen Sestito knows the Northern Beaches well.

Not only does the mother of two young sons live in the area, but her last role with the Department of Family and Community Services in a 22-year career at FACS was as a Senior Client Service Officer in the Brookvale office.

As part of the Access and Demand team, Karmen worked closely with social housing applicants. Now she is looking forward to getting to know more of the northern beaches residents and working closely with support services in the area.  

“It will be nice to get to know the residents and to make a difference by helping them get their lives back on track. It’s satisfying to help people identify the changes they need to make in their lives and to support them on that journey.” 

Bridge Housing, in partnership with the Women’s Housing Company, will manage the Northern beaches social housing portfolio of some 1,100 properties for 20 years from 5 August.
