It has long been known that unaffordable rents are a key factor leading to homelessness. 

Bridge Housing supports Homelessness Week 2019 and its theme of #HousingEndsHomelessness 

Government at all levels, private industry and the community sector need to address this entrenched and growing problem through greater investment in social and affordable housing.

Last night the bi-annual City of Sydney homelessness count took place in the city to identify how many people are sleeping rough on our streets. The results will be available shortly.

Homelessness Week is an annual week coordinated by Homelessness Australia to raise awareness of people experiencing homelessness, the issues they face and the action needed to achieve enduring solutions.
