Naomi Kiarie-Gichanga has been helping people in need on the Northern Beaches for much of her working life.

Our new Brookvale-based Housing Manager, Pathways worked at Sunnyfield DisAbility Services in Allambie Heights for 10 years. She also worked at our supported accommodation partner, Achieve Australia, helping to secure NDIS packages for clients being housed by Bridge Housing.

In her new role with Bridge, Naomi is managing a range of housing applicants, with a particular focus on people at risk of becoming homeless, and women and children escaping domestic violence.

“I like helping people and letting them know that someone is on their case,” Naomi says. “If I am transparent and helpful with them hopefully they will feel calm and cared for through what can be a challenging process to find a home.”

With two boys aged four and six, Naomi’s life outside work is busy. “Yes, I’m a soccer Mum! I don’t know what to do with myself when it rains at the weekend.”
