Bridge Housing is delighted that GSC social commissioner Helen O’Loughlin has accepted our invitation to speak at next month’s Annual General Meeting.
The Greater Sydney Commission has delivered five District Plans and A Metropolis of Three Cities - Greater Sydney Region Plan to guide the future development of Sydney. They have been adopted by the NSW Government.
Helen has been a Commissioner since September last year. She has over 20 years’ experience at a senior level in government and the not-for-profit sector, specialising in social and affordable housing, community development and urban strategic and social planning.
Helen is a qualified Town Planner, with a career focus on housing policy and strategy, particularly affordable housing. She was the former Director of the NSW Centre for Affordable Housing, delivered the National Rental Affordability Scheme in NSW and was a member of the NSW Government’s 2012 Affordable Housing Taskforce.
