Chrissy Settree, our new Pathways Administrator, North, has worked in social housing on Sydney’s Northern Beaches for most of her career.

She joined the Department of Family and Community Services (FACS, now department of Communities and Justice), more than 20 years ago and moved around in a variety of roles and locations, including maintenance, housing allocation, Central office and Dee Why.

“I thought I would be at FACS forever, so the management transfer program was initially a bit of a shock,” Chrissy said. “But I looked into Bridge Housing and it opened my eyes and I ended up being really excited by the new job opportunity!” 

“I sense that everyone at Bridge is very supportive of the team, they really look after you and management are approachable if there’s a problem.”

Chrissy also lives in the area, a short bus ride to Dee Why from the office, where she is surrounded by family, including her young nieces with whom she loves spending time.
