Bridge Housing residents in Malabar St, South Coogee have begun their own beautiful community garden by kicking off with a Royal Botanic Gardens Community Garden Workshop yesterday. 

Excited tenants braved the heat with Darren Martin from Community Greening and Bridge Housing staff to start planning their garden transformation. They got their hands dirty while learning about citrus plants and how to plant according to the soil conditions in their garden.

The project is being funded by Bridge Housing under the Our Place Green Space initiative and delivered in partnership with the Royal Botanic Gardens Community Greening. The residents have agreed to be part of a tracked transformation story on Our Place Green Space.
