The Development Application (DA) for the new Tallawong housing development, in which Bridge Housing will manage 55 affordable homes, has been lodged.

Congratulations to our Landcom tender partner, Deicorp, on this important milestone. Deicorp will deliver some 987 new apartments on the site, including the 55 affordable housing units.

Bridge Housing CEO John Nicolades said: “We are delighted to be working with Deicorp as the community housing provider managing the affordable housing on this estate. Affordable housing is vital in this growth area of Sydney if communities are to be vibrant and support working families on low to moderate incomes.”

“This will assist drive further supply to meet the current shortfall of 136,000 social and affordable housing dwellings which will grow to 217,000 by 2036,” he said.

Located beside the new Tallawong Station, the $680m project was announced by the CEO of Landcom, John Brogden, in August last year.
