Bridge Housing is taking an active part in the Steptember walking challenge this month to raise money for the Black Dog Institute in partnership with other community housing providers.

We’ve had an amazing 50% of staff sign up to do the month-long challenge. We have a combined goal of 8,820,000 steps to be walked in September! Luckily, we are in this together. The challenge will help staff get fit and support an incredible cause by walking 6,000 steps daily, 42,000 steps weekly and 180,000 steps for the month.

If you’d like to support a really worthwhile cause, you can donate to our challenge. Our collective fundraising target to raise $10,000 so please dig deep and ask others to do so. We’re hoping to beat SGCH, Link Housing, Pacer and Hume Housing as the top fundraisers.

A huge thank you to Fire Guard Installations, one of our head contractors who manage fire safety in our western part of the portfolio, for their generous donation this week.
