Bridge Housing has experienced another successful year with record growth, despite the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the way our business operates.

Our 2020 Annual Report documents Bridge Housing’s achievements in the 2019-20 financial year including the:

  • Growth of our property portfolio by 52 per cent
  • Opening of our new Brookvale office and start of management of some 1,228 tenancies on the Northern Beaches under the NSW Government’s Social Housing Management Transfer Program
  • Operating EBITDA of $3.7 million and a 33 per cent increase in operating income to $56.8 million
  • Launch of our second Reconciliation Action plan during National Reconciliation Week
  • Delivery of our largest maintenance program ever at a cost of $12.5 million
  • Our new integrated payroll system and Human Resources Information System, with a new Learning Management System
  • Six industry awards in areas including: governance, asset management, outstanding achievement of staff, best workplace and workplace diversity
  • Successful adaptation of the organisation to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts, including a working-from-home model for staff on weekly rotation, the adoption of a range of COVID Safe practices in our two offices, and welfare checks by phone of vulnerable residents.
