Assett Group Services have won a competitive tender to manage our repairs and maintenance service on the Northern Beaches.

Assett Group Services also won the tender for our central portfolio and will continue to deliver repairs and maintenance service for the portfolio.

CEO John Nicolades said: "Assett Group Services are a proven contractor who have been delivering maintenance service to a high quality for us since 2015. Working together has led to 100% of our properties and residents home being at or above standard in our latest our PAS (Property Assessment Survey) audit results last October.”

“We are delighted  to have them assume responsibility repairs and maintenance for the Northern Beaches portfolio of 1,200 properties.”

The contract will commence on 1 July 2021 following the end of the Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) contractual arrangements. Under the Social Housing Management Transfer (SHMT) program in the Northern Beaches Bridge Housing was obligated to use LAHC contractors and systems first two years of the property transfer, which went live in August 2019.    

“To ensure a smooth transition, Bridge Housing handover arrangements are well advanced ahead of the 1 July 2021 start date."
