We Are Here Now art exhibition

Community housing artists and makers put truth on the table for National Reconciliation Week 2018.

Opening night: Wednesday 30 May, 6-8pm at 107 Redfern St, Redfern

If you can’t make it to the opening night, the exhibition will run from 31 May - 3 Jun and is open daily from 11am - 5pm. Entry is free.

Good Neighbours Workshop

Come along and learn about building positive relationships with your neighbours and making your community a great place to live. At this workshop we will hear from the Director of Housing from Bridge Housing, local Police, an experienced mental health first aid trainer and representatives from the Community Justice Centres who will speak about free mediation services available.

The workshop is free and includes lunch.

We would like to hear from Bridge Housing tenants who speak Arabic. Your input helps us to improve our services. This workshop will be run in Arabic and English. This is your opportunity to raise questions regarding rent, water charges, good neighbour policies and any other relevant issues.

Come along and meet Bridge Housing senior staff, plus other Bridge Housing residents who speak your language, and enjoy lunch with us afterwards.

The venue is directly next to Yagoona Station and is suitable for people with access requirements. For more information and to make a request for assistance, please contact 8324 0851.

Self Care? Don’t Make Me Laugh!

Why we don't take self care seriously and how we can make serious self care fun again! An entertaining and interactive session on life's greatest responsibility. 

Learning about self care can help you:

  • Take care of your mind and thoughts
  • Take care of your physical health and body
  • Take care of your emotions
  • Take care of your spiritual health
  • Discover the self care behaviours that work for you.

This workshop will be facilitated by a Mental Health First Aid Trainer in a safe and supportive environment. You are welcome to come along and participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

NAIDOC Flag Raising Ceremony

A great day packed with live music by local artists, kid’s rides and activities, sport clinics and competitions, arts activities and a free BBQ. Market stalls will include arts & crafts for sale and information from services and organisations. Don’t forget to come say hi to the staff on the Bridge Housing stall!

Partners in Recovery

Partners in Recovery (Inner West Sydney) provide monthly clinic for tenants with concerns about their mental health or that of a family member or neighbour.
