Your obligations

Under the terms of your Residential Tenancy Agreement you must notify us of any damage, defects or deterioration to your home as soon as possible. Early notification will help ensure your property is maintained in good condition throughout your tenancy.

After notifying us of a repair or maintenance issue, please make yourself available to our contractor or technical officer to investigate and complete the required works promptly.

If we are unable to keep an appointment, we will let you know as early as possible. If you cannot make an appointment you have made with our contractor or technical officer, please let us know as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made.

Contractor obligations

Bridge Housing contractors must adhere to our Statement of Business Ethics and have signed up to a Code of Conduct that commits them to a range of service standards including:

  • Attending your home within the designated response times.
  • Ensuring your home is made safe.
  • Completing any subsequent works as soon as possible. Depending on the complexity, works may be delayed if further investigation is required by the contractor or our assets team.
