Redfern Place Update

Bridge’s vision for Redfern Place will deliver over 350 social, affordable and disability support units, supported by a new Bridge Housing head office, community hub and new community facility. We have met a major project milestone with the development application lodged with the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

Tenant Art Show 2026

Bridge Housing’s 2026 Tenant Art Show is a vibrant celebration of local creativity. Honouring lived experience through art the exhibition showcases social housing residents’ connections to their home, community, culture and country.

This year the Art Show will take residence at Mothership Studios during Reconciliation Week.

VISION

Our reconciliation vision

Our vision for reconciliation is to work together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to create homes, places and spaces that are welcoming, safe and appropriate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families. We celebrate and promote the strengths and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and acknowledge the history of dispossession and the impact this has today.

Bridge Housing’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2024-2026 is a call to action. It outlines practical strategies for us to undertake in partnership with our tenants and the broader community to build reconciliation over the next two years.
