Tenant Code of Conduct

In 2014 Bridge Housing  launched  a Charter of Tenant Rights with the launch of our Building Bridges Community Building and Engagement Strategy.

At that time we also committed to working with tenants to develop a Tenant Code of Conduct. The purpose of the Tenant Code of Conduct is to clearly and simply articulate tenant responsibilities under the Residential Tenancies Act 2010

The Code of Conduct was developed after workshops with tenants and feedback from our Tenant Advisory Groups. The Code of Conduct was launched in December 2016 and distributed to all tenants via Our Place tenant newsletter and is included in tenant sign up packs.

Making information clear and accessible to tenants in this way is a very important way of supporting tenants in successful tenancies.
