Bridge Housing today launched its 2019 Employee Opinion Survey. 

CEO John Nicolades told staff: “As our most important asset, your voice is very important to us. We need to keep on top of what you’re thinking, listen to you and identify issues that we need to address to improve our performance as an employer.”

As a result of the 2018 Employee Opinion Survey, Bridge Housing has:

  • Skilled staff to access more career pathways and leadership roles
  • Moved offices to a better working environment at 59 Goulburn St
  • Increased staff salaries to 10% above the relevant award
  • Revised our Recruitment Policy
  • Launched the My Career Hub
  • Offered external counselling to staff and Black Dog Institute wellness workshops
  • Offered AHI mentoring opportunities
  • Begun developing a new Mental Health and Wellbeing Policy to be finalised shortly.

The EOS was launched in 2011 and this year’s will be our 9th survey. Voice Projectwill independently collate and assess staff responses to the survey.

Voice Project is a leading provider of employee engagement, customer service and 360 leadership surveys, which began as a research program at Macquarie University.

Bridge Housing will run a series of focus groups with staff after the survey results are returned to explore the issues and opportunities in more detail.
