Partnering to Connect People and Jobs

Are you looking for work? Bridge Housing's Bridge to Work employment program may be able to help. Our employment services partner CoAct has provided an experienced Employment Support Co-ordinator to work with tenants and household members on a one to one basis.  pdf Read the flyer (1.38 MB) .

Bridge to Work is open to all Bridge Housing residents who are looking for work, or looking to improve their work circumstances, for example, from casual to permanent. The CoAct Employment Support Co-ordinator works with residents to help them establish individual work goals; and will provide one on one support, coaching and mentoring to help residents find the right job sooner.

Advance Scholarships

Advance Scholarships is an annual initiative for tenants and their families to support training, education or employment outcomes; or to improve younger residents' experiences of school or university. Scholarships of up to $1500 are available through an application process.

Orbit

We want to give younger people, aged 5 – 12 years, the chance to talk to us about what’s important to them, what they aspire to, and changes they’d like to see in their homes and their neighbourhoods.

Orbit is held every year during the April school holidays. In recent years, Orbit has been held as a virtual event due to COVID-19, with social media competitions and activities for our young residents. Read more.
