Calling all Good Neighbours!

BlockMeetingF 5470Bridge Housing wants to support and recognise Bridge Housing tenants who look after their blocks, go above and beyond for their neighbours, and help to create positive spaces to live in. 

Do you have a Bridge Housing neighbour who:

  • Does a great job taking care of the common areas?
  • Helps keep the gardens at your block beautiful?
  • Goes above and beyond to help other people?
  • Is a great neighbour to have around?
  • Contributes to creating a positive community to live in?
  • Is a bin legend? 

You can nominate them to go in the running to become a Good Neighbour Champion and receive a $50 gift card! What better way to thank your amazing neighbour than to nominate them to become a Champion!

Who can be a Good Neighbour Champion?

Any Bridge Housing Resident can nominate or be nominated to be a Good Neighbour Champion.
Criteria for a successful nomination includes displaying one or more of the champion categories listed above. Successful Good Neighbour Champions:

  • Will have received three (3) nominations towards their name
  • Will have no rental arrears with no other outstanding issues on tenancy
  • Can be any resident of Bridge Housing
  • Will always be recognised as a Good Neighbour Champion unless they breach their tenancy.

How can I nominate a Good Neighbour Champion?

Good Neighbour Champions can be nominated by other residents or Bridge Housing Staff. Residents are not able to nominate themselves but are encouraged to nominate their neighbours.

What happens next?

The Community Team will review nominations based on the eligibility criteria and select successful Good Neighbour Champions in May and November.

Good Neighbour Champions will be contacted and arrangements made to ensure their awarded gift card is received and permission given for their name and photo to be included on social media and in the newsletter.

What better way to thank an amazing resident than to nominate them to become a Good Neighbour Champion!
