Fifty-five new affordable homes to be built on a Landcom site near the new Tallawong metro station will be managed by Bridge Housing.

Bridge won the competitive tender to manage the homes, which will comprise 5% of the new development for the site in the north-west Sydney growth corridor.

CEO John Nicolades said: “We are delighted to partner with Landcom to deliver more affordable housing to meet growing need. Landcom’s leadership shows how land contribution is one lever that State and Federal Government can deploy and work with the community and private housing sector to increase investment in affordable housing.”

The 1,100 new homes, including the affordable housing, were announced on Sunday by the CEO of Landcom, John Brogden. The Tallawong Precinct South is the first housing project to be announced by the NSW Government along the metro route as part of the North West Places Program.
