Jenny Ripton left England for Australia five years ago in pursuit of the sun. She still loves the Sydney climate and lifestyle, but now feels truly at home in a community and job she loves.

“I got my permanent residency this year and my life has stopped revolving around a visa!” she joked. 

“I love working at Bridge Housing because it’s so well organised, has great systems and is well connected within the sector. Everybody here is also in the job for all the right reasons so it’s a really positive environment.”

Jenny is passionate about social justice and volunteers in youth services and the Women’s Justice Network in her spare time. She is also crazy about Maggie, a small black dog she adopted after finding her abandoned in a property managed by her former employer, City West Housing.
