Bridge Housing asset maintenance contractors Assett Group Services have generously donated 50 Essential food packs to residents doing it tough under the COVID-19 isolation and restrictions.

Assett Group Services Managing Director Joseph Puccio arrived at Elger St Glebe with team members this morning to deliver the packs to our staff for residents in need.

Mr Puccio said: “I have experienced difficult times in my own life and I know how far a small gesture can go in times of need. The Assett team communicates with many of your tenants on a daily basis and (know that) many people are struggling more than ever to meet basic day to day needs.”

He also said: “Assett has found itself in a fortunate position of maintaining business as usual during COVID-19. A significant contributor to our position is your ongoing support and the continued rollout of planned work projects. As such, the Assett team is particularly grateful for the ability to maintain our continuity of employment, which is directly attributed to Bridge Housing.”

Bridge Housing Director Assets Theo Posumah thanked Assett for their generosity. “You understand our business and, more importantly, the vulnerability of some residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are very grateful for your support for them at this challenging time.”
